dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce se bude zabývat příslušnicemi leteckých, bombardovacích a pomocných oddílů ve 2. světové válce. Práce bude zaměřena na oddíly ze Spojeného království, Spojených států amerických, Sovětského Ruska, ale také na československé ženy, které sloužily v zahraničí. Autorka si vybrala čtyři různé organizace, které bude v práci popisovat: Women's Auxiliary, Air Transport Auxiliary, Women Airforce Service Pilots a 122. leteckou skupinu. Bude popsán jejich vznik a jejich úloha ve válce. Cílem práce bude stručně popsat službu žen v leteckých oddílech a ukázat, že ženy ve 2. světové válce nebyly pouze zdravotnice a nebály se vyrazit do boje. Hlavními zdoji budou knihy Ženy ve válce 1939-1945 od Jacka Cassina-Scotta. Dále The WAAF. A history of the Women's Auxiliary Air Force in the Second World War autorky Beryl E. Escott a Spitfire Women of World War II autorky Giles Whittel.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe bachelor thesis will be about members of aerial, bomber and auxiliary forces in World War 2. The work will be focused on forces in the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Soviet Russia, but also on czechoslovakian women who served abroad. The author chose four different organisations, which she will be describing in the work: Women's Auxiliary, Air Transport Auxiliary, Women Airforce Service Pilots and the 122nd Air Group. There will be descriptions of their cration and their role in the war. The goal of this thesis is to briefly describe duties of women in air force and show that women in the world war 2 weren't only nurses and weren't afraid to go to battle. The main sources will be books Women at War 1939-45 by Jack Cassin-Scott. Then The WAAF. A history of the Women's Auxiliary Air Force in the Second World War by author Beryl E. Ecott and Spitfire Women of World War II by author Giles Whittel.en
