dc.description.abstractTábory smrti Treblinka a Sobibor byly důležitými prostředky k výkonu tzv. Operace Reinhard/t, jež měla za cíl vyhladit evropské židovstvo se současným zabavením židovského majetku. V rámci této operace působily tři tábory: Bełżec, Sobibór, Treblinka. V posledních dvou propukly vězeňské vzpoury, které anticipovaly zrušení obou táborů. Ve všech třech táborech bylo vyhlazeno okolo 1,75 milionu Židů z různých evropských zemí.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe death camps Treblinka and Sobibor represented an important tool for realization of so called Operation Reinhard/t, which was established with the goal of destroying European Jews and confiscating their property. This operation was carried out mainly in three camps: Belzec, Sobibor and Treblinka. The revolts of the prisoners broke out in the last two mentioned camps, which anticipated the closing of both of them. In all three camps together, approximately 1, 75 million of Jews from various European countries was put to death.en
