dc.description.abstractCílem této diplomové práce je formulovat roli kybernetiky v rámci současné vědy, a to na základě historického kontextu vzniku a vývoje kybernetiky. Historický kontext je zde analyzován skrze popis americké kybernetiky a "proto-kybernetiky", počínaje vznikem Fordova Rangekeeperu v roce 1916 až po zformování Wienerovy kybernetiky ve čtyřicátých letech a její pokračování v letech padesátých. Práce diskutuje rozličné aspekty kybernetiky včetně její transdisciplinarity a vzniku specifického metaforického jazyka, tzv. cyberspeaku. Jelikož opodstatněnost kybernetiky pro dnešní vědu může být v lecčems zpochybňována, práce se věnuje i tomuto tématu, přičemž nabízí vlastní definici kybernetiky a končí závěrem o zásadní důležitosti dalšího rozvoje kybernetiky pro budoucí vědu.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe goal of this Master's Thesis is to formulate the role of cybernetics within contemporary science on the basis of historical context of its origins and development. This historical context is analysed through exploration of American cybernetics and "proto-cybernetics", starting in 1916 by Ford's Rangekeeper and mapping the period until the formation of the Wiener's cybernetics in the 1940's and its follow-up in the 1950's. Various aspects of cybernetics are discussed, including the issues of its transdisciplinarity and formation of a specific metaphorical language - cyberspeak. The importance of cybernetics for contemporary science could possibly be questioned, and so the goal of this thesis is also to clarify this issue. It offers a new definition of cybernetics and concludes with the statement that cybernetics is still essential for the future development of science.en
