dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce se zaměřuje na geopolitickou analýzu Ukrajiny a vymezení hlavních bodů ve vývoji ukrajinské vnitřní a zahraniční politiky tak, aby se prokázaly její geopolitické aspekty. Diplomová práce je snahou pojednat o současném geopolitickém významu Ukrajiny v globální politice. Daná práce zároveň zmiňuje případovou studii Ukrajiny, která uvede do praktických souvislostí dané problematiky a také ilustruje její podstatu. Stranou nezůstalo i problematika ukrajinské identity, která je důležitá nejen z hlediska jejího historicko-kulturního, ale především politického významu. Cílem práci je tak ukázat, že od dob získání nezávislostí v 90. letech 20. století geopolitický rámec analýzy Ukrajiny nelze definovat jako nový a její strategická důležitost spočívá spíše v ekonomické rovině než politické.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe focus of this thesis is geopolitical analysis of Ukraine and definition of the key aspecfts of its domestic and foreign policies. This thesis demonstrates geopolitical aspects in such a way as to show discussion about the current geopolitical role of Ukraine in global politics. The work also presents a case study of Ukraine, which puts the above mentioned geopolitical analysis into context and illustrates its specifics. The issue of Ukrainian identity is also considered in this thesis due to its cultural, historical and political significance. The aim of this thesis is thus to show that we cannot define the analytical geopolitical framework of Ukraine since the country gained its independence in the 1990s as new; the country?s strategic importance lies in economy rather than politics.en
