dc.description.abstractPředložená bakalářská práce seznamuje čtenáře s fenoménem náboženského hnutí rastafari. Je založena na terénním výzkumu, který probíhal ve městech Praha a Plzeň v období od října 2010 do dubna 2012 mezi českými a africkými rastafariány. Práce vyzdvihuje základní rozdíly mezi pojetím rastafari coby subkultury moderní společnosti reprezentované českými rastafariány a univerzalistického náboženského hnutí, které v práci zastupují afričtí rastafariáni. V úvodní části je představena koncepce kontrakultury, subkultury a spirituálních hnutí. Následující kapitola pojednává o historickém vývoji hnutí a seznamuje s klíčovými představiteli. Ve stěžejní kapitole je provedena komparace podstatných charakteristik životního stylu českých a afrických rastafariánů, které jsou v práci ukotveny pomocí klíčových symbolů rastafariánství. Výstupy vznikly na základě analýzy polo strukturovaných rozhovorů a metody zúčastněného pozorování.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis introduces to its readers the phenomenon of Rastafarian religious movement. It is based on field research conducted between Czech and African Rastafarians in the cities of Prague and Pilsen in the period from October 2010 to April 2012. The thesis highlights the fundamental differences between the concept of Rastafari as a subculture of modern society represented by the Czech Rastafarian and universalistic religious movements that are represented by African Rastafarians in this thesis. In the opening, is introduced the concept of counterculture, subculture and spiritual movements. The following chapter discusses the historical development of movement and acquaints with the key representatives. The crucial chapter deals with the comparison of the essential characteristics of the lifestyle of Czech and African Rastafarian, which are elaborated in the thesis by the key symbols of Rastafari. The outputs are based on the analysis of semi-structured interviews and methods of observation.en
