dc.description.abstractTato bakalářská práce se zabývá otázkou budoucnosti Severního Irska z pohledu irských politických stran. Úvodní část je věnována historickému a politickému vývoji, včetně rozdělení Irského ostrova v roce 1921, následného ozbrojeného konfliktu známého jako The Troubles a jeho ukončení Velkopáteční dohodou v roce 1998. Zohledněn je také aktuální politický kontext po brexitu a dopad Protokolu o Severním Irsku. Tato část slouží k zasazení hlavního tématu do širšího kontextu a vytváří nezbytný rámec pro porozumění současným postojům irských politických stran k budoucnosti Severního Irska. Cílem práce je zjistit postoje relevantních irských politických stran (Sinn Féin, Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael, Labour Party, Green Party a Sociální demokraté) k otázce sjednocení Irska, sledovat jejich vývoj od konce 20. století až do současnosti a zhodnotit, zda a jak si jednotlivé strany sjednocení ostrova představují. Práce vychází z programových dokumentů a veřejných vyjádření jednotlivých stran a jejich představitelů.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor's thesis deals with the question of the future of Northern Ireland from the perspective of Irish political parties. The introductory part is devoted to historical and political developments, including the partition of the island of Ireland in 1921, the subsequent armed conflict known as The Troubles and its end by the Good Friday Agreement in 1998. The current political context after Brexit and the impact of the Northern Ireland Protocol are also taken into account. This part serves to place the main topic in a broader context and creates the necessary framework for understanding the current positions of Irish political parties on the future of Northern Ireland. The aim of the thesis is to determine the positions of the relevant Irish political parties (Sinn Féin, Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael, Labour Party, Green Party and Social Democrats) on the issue of Irish unification, to follow their development from the end of the 20th century to the present day and to assess whether and how the individual parties imagine the unification of the island. The thesis is based on program documents and public statements of individual parties and their representatives.en
