dc.description.abstractTato bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice politické secese a její legitimitě. V práci jsou vysvětleny explanatorní a normativní přístupy k secesi, v rámci kterých jsou podrobněji analyzované jednotlivé teorie autorů, zabývajících se politickým odtržením. Dle vybraných teorií - remediální teorie Allena Buchanana a plebiscitní teorie Harryho Berana je poté posuzována legitimita případného odtržení Texasu od Spojených států amerických.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor thesis deals with the theme of political secession and its legitimacy. In this thesis explanatory and normative theories of secession are explained and applied on the case of Texas independence. According to criteria of legitimate secession of Allen Buchanan (Remedial theory of secession) and Harry Beran (Plebiscite theory of secession) the possible secession of Texas from the USA is considered.en
