dc.description.abstract-translatedBohemisms in contemporary Russian represent a fascinating linguistic phenomenon that has not yet been sufficiently explored by either Czech or Russian linguists. The speech of Russian-speaking residents in the Czech environment contains numerous lexical units influenced by Czech. These lexical bohemisms form a diverse group and can be classified into several subtypes: absolute bohemisms, lexical-semantic bohemisms, calques, and nonce words. This article proposes a framework for the classification and linguistic analysis of these lexical bohemisms. It further examines specific examples collected during a sociolinguistic study conducted between June 2016 and February 2022. The primary data for this research consists of 30 audio--recorded interviews with Russian-speaking respondents from Pilsen and the Pilsen Region. These speech samples also serve as a case study of the Russian language functioning in a country where it is not an official state language.en
