Abstract
The paper introduces an analysis of several arrangements of permanent magnet synchronous machines in relation to their rated parameters and overloadability. An analysis of peak performance of the permanent magnet synchronous machines is introduced and effects related thereon are determined especially in view of winding properties of multiphase machines.
