dc.description.abstractTématem této diplomové práce je Indonésie jako nová (nastupují) mocnost. Cílem této práce je analyzovat, do jaké míry Indonésie svými aktivitami, především pak svojí zahraniční politikou, naplňuje charakteristiky nové mocnosti a z jakého důvodu není v rámci diskurzu chápaná jako typický představitel nových mocností, tj. není spojována s prominentními novými mocnostmi uskupení BRICS. V teoretické části své práce se zabývám konceptem nové mocnosti. Na konci této části je stanoveno sedm definiční znaků nové mocnosti pro analytickou část této práce. První kapitola empirické části se soustředí na indonéské zahraničně-politické aktivity od vyhlášení nezávislosti v roce 1945 až do roku 1998, jelikož již v rámci tohoto časového období lze spatřovat indonéské mocenské ambice. Dále již analyzuji Indonésii v období od roku 1998 až do března 2019 na základě definičních znaků stanovených v teoretické části. Poslední kapitola je pak věnována důvodům, proč Indonésie není součástí BRICS.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe topic of this diploma thesis is Indonesia as a new (emerging) power. The aim of this work is to assess to what extent Indonesia, through its activities, especially in foreign policy, fulfills the characteristics of a new power and why it is not seen as a typical representative of new powers within the discourse, i.e. it is not associated with the prominent new powers of the BRICS. The theoretical part introduces the concept of new power. At the end of this chapter the 7 defining features of a new power are stated. The first chapter of the empirical part focuses on Indonesian foreign policy activities since the proclamation of independence in 1945 to 1998, as Indonesia's power ambitions can already be observed within this time period. Then, the 7 defining features are used in the main, analytical, part of this thesis to analyze Indonesia. The last chapter deals with the reasons why Indonesia is not part of BRICS.en
