dc.description.abstractTato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na výzkum fungování a poslání křesťanského společenství v České republice. Cílem práce je ukázat jeho význam a roli v životě jednotlivce, který do takové komunity vstoupil. Budou zjišťovány odpovědi na otázky, co člověka do církve přivádí a co pro něj účast na tomto společenství znamená, co mu to přináší a proč v něm setrvává. Hlavním úkolem práce je zjistit, jaké zásadní změny v životě člověka tento obrat přináší. V teoretické části práce se zaměřím na historii náboženství v České republice a přiblížím Evangelickou církev metodistickou, jejíž sbor v Plzni je předmětem tohoto výzkumu. V empirické části práce se zaměřím na představení sboru ve sledované farnosti a vyhodnocení konkrétních výsledků z nasbíraných dat.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor thesis is focused on the research of the functioning and mission of the Christian community in the Czech Republic. The aim of this work is to show its importance and role in the life of an individual who has entered such a community. The answers to the questions of what brings a person to the Church and what the participation in this community means to him, what it brings to him and why he stays in it will be investigated. The main task of this work is to find out what fundamental changes in human life this turn brings. In the theoretical part I will focus on the history of the religion in the Czech Republic and I will introduce the Methodist Evangelical Church, whose congregation in Pilsen is the subject of this research. In the empirical part of the thesis I will focus on the presentation of the congregation in the monitored parish and the evaluation of the particular results from the collected data.en
