dc.description.abstract-translatedThe Chamber of Deputies has approved a major amendment to the Labour Code, effective from October 2023, which significantly strengthens employees‘ rights and seeks a better work-life balance. The changes also concern agreements on work outside the employment, where the rights of employees are increased, and the obligations of employers are expanded. These significant changes aim to bring the agreements closer to the traditional employment, and the question that the paper examines is whether these changes lead to a reduction in the flexibility of the agreements, which are still classified as flexible forms of em ployment in Czech labour lawen
