dc.description.abstractTato bakálářská práce se zabývá postavením Brazílie v rámci regionu Latinské Ameriky a cílem práce je představit Brazílii jako regionálního hegemona. Teoretická část práce se zabývá konceptem regionální hegemonie a následující části práce sledují, zda Brazílie splňuje charakteristiky regionální hegemonie. První část popisuje ekonomický a politický vývoj země, především v období po skončení studené války. Tématem druhé části je postavení a role Brazílie v regionálních organizacích Mercosur a Unasur. Třetí část se zaměřuje na postavení Brazílie v globální sféře a její spolupráci s ostatními regionálními velmocemi a nově vznikajícími mocnostmi, kterými jsou například Indie a Jihoafrická republika.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor thesis deals with the position of Brazil in the region of Latin America and the goal of the thesis is to describe Brazil as regional hegemony. The theoretical part deals with the concept of regional hegemony and the next parts of the thesis follow whether Brazil meets the characteristics of regional hegemony or not. The first part describes the economical and political development of the country, mainly after the end of the Cold War. The topic of the second part is the Brazil´s position and role in the regional organizations Mercosur and Unasur. The third part deals with the position of Brazil in a global sphere and its cooperation with other regional powers and emerging powers (for example India and South Africa).en
