dc.description.abstract-translatedThe current Slovak regulation of testamentary succession allows the testator to make a will only in a holographic form, an allographic form or a will in the form of a notarial deed. Joint wills of several testators are absolutely invalid and the law also does not allow the creation of wills with certain formal concessions. The presented paper introduced new forms of wills, which are absent in the de lege lata regulation in the legal order of the Slovak Republic and could find their justification in the framework of the recodification of private law. The paper focused in particular on technologically new forms of electronic wills, privileged wills and joint wills. In the conclusion, the author gives his critical views on which forms of wills should be introduced in the Slovak Republic in the future legal regulation.en
