| dc.description.abstract | Práce se věnuje vývoji a postoji elitismu ke klasické liberální demokracii. První část práce se zabývá základními ideovými premisami a tezemi konceptu klasické liberální demokracie. Stěžejní část práce tvoří klasická teorie elit, která byla koncipovaná na přelomu 19. a 20. století jako kritická reakce na rozvíjející se koncept liberální demokracie. Klasičtí teoretici elit postavili svou teorii na představě společnosti, která je vždy rozdělena na úzkou skupinu vládnoucích a širokou masu ovládaných. Toto rozdělení považovali za neodstranitelné. Následující část práce se věnuje meziválečnému a poválečnému vývoji elitismu, neboť během 20. století doznal určitých změn, které měly dopad i na obecný postoj k demokracii jako takové. V této části práce je představena teorie ?jiné? demokracie Josepha A. Schumpetera. Následně je pozornost věnovaná neoelitistickým teoriím, jsou představeny dvě, do určité míry protikladné teorie elit autorů Harolda D. Lasswella a Charlese W. Millse. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | The work is dedicated to the development and attitude of elitism to classical liberal democracy. The first part of this work deals with the basic ideological assumptions and theses of the concept of classical liberal democracy. The central part of this work consists of the classical theory of elites, which was conceived in the late 19th and 20th century as a critical response to the emerging concept of liberal democracy. Classical theorists elites built their theory on the notion of a society that is always divided into a narrow ruling group and a broad mass of the governed. This division was considered unrecoverable. The following section is devoted to the work interwar and postwar development of elitism, because during the 20th century has undergone certain changes that had an impact on general attitudes towards democracy as such.In this part the theory of "other" democracy by Joseph A. Schumpeter is presented. Subsequently attention is paid to neoelitist theories, two to a certain extent contradictory theories by Harold D. Lasswell and Charles W. Mills are presented. | en |
