dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce se věnuje situaci na hranicích v době komunistická vlády. vysvětluje zde pojem Železná opona, tedy její podobu, funkci, kdo byl jejím tvůrcem a i to kolik lidí zde zemřelo. dále se práce věnuji také Pohraniční stráži, která měla za úkol hranice střežit před narušiteli nebo nepřátelskými agenty. další součástí práce jsou také převaděči, kteří pomáhali nespokojeným obyvatelům Československa dostat se za hranice do jiného státu, ať již za úplatu nebo zdarma. Tito převaděči také často pracovali právě jako agenti-chodci, kteří přenášeli jak z tak do Československa důležité informace. v neposlední řadě práce osvětluje nějaké kuriosnější případy útěků přes hranice. finální kapitola práce se věnuje případu Huberta Pilčíka, který má na svědomí minimálně 5 dokázaných objetí a sám se vydával za převaděče jen aby se mohl finančně a materiálně obohatit na svých objektech.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe thesis is devoted to the situation on the border during the communist rule.It explains the concept of the Iron Curtain, its form, function, who was its creator and how many people died there. The thesis also discusses the Border Guard, which was tasked with guarding the border from intruders or enemy agents. another part of the thesis is the smugglers who helped disgruntled residents of Czechoslovakia get across the border to another country, either for pay or for free. These smugglers also often worked precisely as agents-cum-pedestrians, transmitting important information both from and to Czechoslovakia.Last but not least, the thesis illuminates some of the more notorious cases of border escapes.The final chapter of the thesis is devoted to the case of Hubert Pilchik, who has at least five proven hugs to his name and who posed as a smuggler himself just to enrich himself financially and materially from his objects.en
