dc.description.abstractTato bakalářská práce pojednává o užití pasíva v angličtině s ohledem na češtinu. Je rozdělena do tří částí. V teoretické části je detailně popsán slovesný rod, forma pasíva, zvláštnosti, typy a užití v češtině i v angličtině. V druhé, praktické, části práce jsou teoretické poznatky aplikovány do praxe a byla zde provedena analýza 500 excerptů vybraných z knihy 1984 britského spisovatele George Orwella. Výsledky analýzy jsou zaneseny do pěti grafů a slovně vysvětleny. Zanalyzované excerpty se nacházejí v příloze práce.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis undergraduate thesis deals with the use of the passive in English with respect to Czech. It consists of three parts. In the Theoretical background, the description of the voice category is provided, the passive form, contraints, use and types are explained in detail. The practical part of the thesis involves the extended analysis of 500 excerpts extracted from George Orwell's 1984. The results of the analysis are demonstrated in five diagrams and further explained. The actual analysis is placed in the appendix section.en
