dc.description.abstractPráce je příspěvkem k debatě o vlivu protestantismu na vznik a formování moderní vědy. Věnuje se základním protestantským teologickým principům, dílčím doktrinálním aspektům a společenským, kulturním a politickým důsledkům reformace. Nesnaží se nalézt přímou spojitost mezi protestantskou dogmatikou a vznikem vědy. Vychází z komplexnějšího pohledu: nikoliv samo nové náboženské učení, ale proměna společenských a politických podmínek, k níž v důsledku reformace došlo, vytvořila podhoubí příhodné pro rozvoj novověké vědy.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis is a contribution to the debate about the influence of Protestantism on origin and formation of modern science. It deals with basic Protestant theological principles, partial doctrinal aspects and social, cultural and political consequences of the Reformation. It is not trying to find a direct connection between Protestant doctrine and creation of science. The thesis is based on a more complex view: The convenient breeding ground for forming early modern science was not created by religious doctrine itself, but by the change of social and political conditions which was the consequence of the Reformation.en
