dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce se zabývá problematikou čínské rozvojové politiky v oblasti Latinské Ameriky. Hlavním cílem práce je určit, zda tato politika naplňuje spíše znaky rozvojové spolupráce, nebo neokolonialismu. Hlavní platformu pro výzkum tvoří dvě případové studie zaměřené na vybrané země regionu - Chile a Mexiko. Tyto země byly vybrány především z důvodu silných historických vazeb s Čínou v rámci regionu. Zároveň lze na úrovni těchto zemí pozorovat soupeření západních mocností, zejména pak Spojených států, a ČLR.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe aim of this Master´s thesis is to state whether the Chinese involvement in Latin America fulfills rather features of neo-colonialism or development assistance. The main part of this work consists of two case studies focused on Chinese engagement in Chile and Mexico. These countries were chosen because they have historically strong ties with China as they established their formal diplomatic relations with PRC among the first in the region. Moreover both countries are members of OECD and have also strong ties with the United States, so it is interesting to focus on the struggle between China and the Western countries over the influence in the region.en
