dc.description.abstractV diplomové práci jsme se pokusili na základě délky záprstních kostí odhadnout délku ruky. Jako materál nám posloužili rentgenové snímky lidské ruky. Na základě statistické analýzy a vzhledem k její efektivnosti navrhujeme novou metodu měření délky ruky. Ruku jsme měřili jako vzdálenost odvrcholu processus styloideus radii ke špičce třetího prstu. V porovnání s ostatními metodami dosáhla námi navrhovaná metoda nejvyšší intraobservační i interobservační shody. Potvrdili jsme typický délkový vzorec záprstních kostí ruky a také jsme potvrdili pohlavní dimorfismus délkových rozměrů ruky a záprstních kostí.Také jsme analyzovali předpoklady lineární regrese, což se obvykle neobjevuje ve studiích tohoto typu. K tomuto účelu jsme použili Ramseyho RESET test, Durbin-Watsonův test, Mahalanobisovu a Cookovu vzdálenost, Breusch-Paganův test a Shapiro-Wilkův test test. Identifikovali jsme několik odlehlých hodnot, které nám zkreslovaly předchozí regresní rovnice. Po analyzování příčin jsme vytvořili nové, nezkreslené rovnice odhadu délky ruky ze záprstních kostí.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedIn this thesis we tried to predict hand length from length of metacarpals. For this purpose we analyzed radiograph pictures of human hands. On the basis of statistical analysis and according to its high-efficiency we introduced a new method of hand-length measurement. We measured hand length as a distance from tip of processus styloideus radii to tip of third finger. In comparison with other methods our method showed the best performance when analyzing their intra- and inter-observer agreement. We confirmed, that there is a typical length pattern of metacarpals in human hand and that there is a sexual dimorphism present in length dimensions of human hand and metacarpals. We also analyzed assumptions for linear regression analysis, which is rarely done in this type of studies. For this purpose we used Ramsey's RESET test, Durbin-Watson test, Mahalanobis and Cook's distance, Breusch-Pagan's test and Shapiro-Wilk's test. We identified sever outliers, that biased previous regression formulas. We tried to interpret why they were lying out. After,we produced non-biased regression formulas for hand-length estimations from metacarpal lengths.en
