| dc.description.abstract-translated | The authors pay attention to the obligation to reimburse the costs of criminal proceedings, as stipulated in Section 556 of the Criminal Procedural Code, in the case of a completely unsuccessful application for permission to renew proceedings. In this context, they examined the general aspects of costs in criminal proceedings, the practice of general courts, and the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic. Attention was given to several challenges that arose, which were subjected to both application and theoretical analysis. The result of this examination represents a concluding summary, which could serve as a sort of code of good practice (guideline) for entities coming into contact with this issue from various positions. | en |
