dc.description.abstractHlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je zjist odpověď na otázku, zda mají secesionistické regiony Baskicko a Katalánsko právo na nezávislost v návaznosti na stanovené teorie secese. V mém případě se jedná o Remediální teorie secese Allena Buchanana a Plebicitní teorie Harryho Berana. Tito teoretici hovoří o specifických kritériích, za kterých je secese území legitimní. Právě tyto kritéria,v omezeném množství, jsou podstatnou částí této bakalářské práce. Jednotlivá kritéria byla podrobena analýze, na základě které jsem byl schopen určit, zda secese území je legitimní či nelegitimní.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedIn this bachelor thesis I analyzed two secessionist areas, Basque Country and Catalonia on the basis of the theory of secession chosen by myself, specially analyzed their right to self-determination. The primary objective of this work is to find out whether the Basque Country and Catalonia are entitled to independence according to the chosen theories. This bachelor thesis consists of theoretical part, where Remedial theory of Allen Buchanan and Plebiscite theory of Harry Beran are solved. The second part of this thesis is a practical part, where I solve the application of the criteria of the secessionist areas. The chosen criteria address the issue of respect for human rights, the size of the territory, the protection of culture or any redistributive disadvantage of these areas. With this analysis, we will be able to comprehensively determine whether the Basque Country and Catalonia are eligible for independence, specially to self-determination.en
