Two types of material were used in this work: foam specimens and 3D-prints from TPE material. Cylindrical specimens were created with two main types of inner structures: rectilinear and staggered. Variations of these geometries were created in four relative densities 20, 35, 50, and 65%. A series of drop tests were carried out to determine the ability of the material and structure to absorb the impact force. The parameters of the drop tower reflect the EN 1621-1 standard, which focuses on motorcycle joint protectors and their testing.en
