| dc.description.abstract | The main aim of this paper is to extend the extensive work in the domain of heat transfer between two solid bodies. The problem is initially delineated, referencing foundational works that address the topic through both experimental and theoretical approaches. Subsequently, a theoretical case describing the transition between two materials is proposed to validate the chosen approach. One material is loaded with power loss, while the other serves as a thermal conductor. Two methodologies are presented to incorporate equivalent thermal conductivity between the two solids within the context of thermal modeling. The first approach involves the direct usage of interfacial conductance of solid bodies through the Fourier heat conduction equation, deriving the thermal modeling equation from a verified foundational paper. The second approach propose a theoretical distribution of the interfacial layer between solids. A sensitivity analysis was conducted to explore the functional dependence of the interfacial layer's composition and height concerning thermal conductivity. From this analysis, an equivalent thermal conductivity for the transition between solids can be determined and applied to the thermal model. | en |
