dc.description.abstractPráce shrnuje situaci římské říše od 3. století do roku 476 a následný vývoj křesťanské církve. Důležitou roli ohledně dekadence římské říše hrály její vnitřní a vnější problémy. Mezi vnitřní příčiny úpadku můžeme považovat sociální, ekonomickou, politickou, náboženskou a vojenskou situaci v říši. Za vnější problémy můžeme považovat vpád barbarských etnik za Limes Romanus a následný proces označovaný jako stěhování národů. Část práce je dále věnována jednotlivým názorům o příčinách pádu impéria a následným vývojem křesťanství po rozpadu říše. V poslední řadě je uvedena komparace východní a západní části impéria a jsou uvedeny příčiny, proč východní část nezanikla.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis work summarizes the situation of the Roman Empire from the 3rd century to the year 476 and the subsequent development of the Christian Church. An important role regarding the decline of the Roman Empire played her internal and external problems. Among the internal causes of the decline can be regarded social, economic, political, religious and military situation in the empire. For external problems can be regarded an invasion of barbarian ethnic behind Limes Romanus and the subsequent process known as migration period. Another part of the work is dedicated to the individual opinions about the causes of the fall of the empire and the subsequent development of Christianity after the collapse of the empire. Finally, it is presented a comparison between eastern and western empire and it is introduced the reasons why the eastern part didn´t cease to exist.en
