Abstract
This article deals with the investigation of the possibility of increasing the protection of glued joints, especially against moisture, on electrically conductive textile stretchable ribbons by application of protective tapes. It can be concluded that electrical resistance of new joints between SMD components and conductive lines on ribbon is higher for samples with protection due to the increased temperature and pressure during the tape application process. On the other hand, the protection effectively protects the component from moisture. The results for samples with PUR tape protection are better and the electrical resistance of these samples is still acceptable for some applications.
