dc.description.abstractCílem práce bylo popsat situaci křesťanů v římském impériu v průběhu prvních století. Pokusila jsem se zmapovat jednotlivé období pronásledování křesťanů. Vycházela jsem z mnoha dokumentů, zvláště z primárních zdrojů. Zrození křesťanství a jeho počátky není jednoduché popsat, protože neexistuje dostatek informací.Mnoho událostí té doby je posuzováno s určitým stereotypem, ale pravda je jiná. Není jisté, proč byli křesťané pronásledováni, podle kterých zákonů byli souzeni, kolik bylo obětí perzekucí. Jisté je, že církev přežila a zesílila navzdory těžkým časům.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe aim of my diploma´s thesis was to describe the situation of Christians of Roman empire in the course of the first centuries. I tried to map the particular period of persecution of Christians. I draw from many documents, especially from primary sources. The genesis of Christianity and its beginning isn´t easy to describe, because we haven´t many informations. Many of affairs of that time is received monotonous, but the true is show to be different. We don´t know exactly why the Christians were persecuted, which law allowed to punish them, how many victims died. But we know that the church survived and forced despite of the hard times.en
