dc.description.abstractTato práce se zabývá režimem Augusta Pinocheta v Chile a jeho zařazením mezi autoritativní režimy. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí, první část se týká rozdělením nedemokratických režimů na totalitní a autoritativní a definicemi těchto dvou typů nedemokratických režimů. Druhá část popisuje režim Augusta Pinocheta v Chile, jeho nástup k moci, jeho vládu a návrat Chile zpátky k demokracii. Poslední část spojuje poznatky z první a druhé kapitoly a popisuje, proč je tento režim řazen mezi autoritativní režimy a nikoliv totalitní.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe purpose of the thesis is to determine characteristic features of August Pinochet's regime, which put the regime among authoritarian regimes. The first part of the thesis is focused on defining the totalitarian regimes and on the differences between them. The second part of the thesis deals with August Pinochet's rule in Chile. The last chapter of the thesis connects the first and the second part. The characteristics of Pinochet's regime are compared with definition of totalitarism and autoritarism and it shows that the Augusto Pinochet regime in Chile was authoritative and not totalitarian,en
