dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce je zaměřena na historii dřevařství na Šumavě, především na historii voroplavby v této oblasti a to nejen na české ale i německé straně. Autorka rovněž popíše důvody ukončení voroplavby a porovná historii voroplavby na české a německé straně. Práce se bude rovnež zabývat životem a prací plavců, stavbou pramene a jazykem plavců. Práce obsahuje také obrazové přílohy a slovník vybraných německých a českých vorařských pojmů.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis deals with the history of lumbering in Šumava mountains, but the thesis is focused mainly on the history of timber rafting. Not only the history of timber rafting is compared on the Czech side and German side of Šumava. The thesis deals with the raftsmen, their life and work, e.g. building of raft and is focused also on the language of raftsmen. The thesis includes also pictures and vocabulary of selected Czech and German words used in timber rafting.en
