Abstract
The cataphoresis process used mainly in the automotive industries and engineering companies is ensuring the creation of long-term resistance on the surface of the material against the effects of corrosion. The given technological process consists of applying a concentration of high-quality epoxy resins and pigments to electrically conductive surfaces which ensures the creation of a protective anti-corrosion layer. Technological and process factors represent an analysis of the influence of the concentration of degreasing agent PRAGOLD 57N mixture on the properties of layer created by the technological process of cataphoretic painting. The specified technological factors affecting the technological process are tested on eighty-eight VDA239-100 CR4 samples which were chosen for experimental planned methodology (DoE). The samples are subsequently subjected to the measuring of the thickness of the created anti-corrosion layer by the chosen measurement device Elcometer 456 which took accordance to an ISO standards. By the Statistic program were created graphical dependencies that displayed the influence of factors on the created thickness coating. The main goal of the given article is to define the optimal conditions of degreasing agent mixture through the DoE for the technological process of cataphoretic painting.
