dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce se zabývá tématem vztahu Francie a evropské integrace a Evropské unie. Popisuje počátky evropského integračního myšlení, s důrazem na pojem Pan-Evropa. Shrnuje přístup francouzských prezidentů Čtvrté a Páté francouzské republiky k evropské integraci. Práce zmiňuje francouzské osobnosti, které pomohly evropským integračním procesům (J. Monnet, R. Schuman, R. Pleven, J. Delors) a zároveň pojednává o překážkách, které Francie postavila evropské integraci do cesty (krach EOS, veto o přijetí Velké Británie do ES, krize ?prázdné židle?, francouzská referenda o evropských otázkách). Práce se detailně zabývá volebními programy největších politických stran Francie vzhledem k tématu integrace a postojem Francie k východnímu rozšiřování. Dále je zde popsán názor Francie a jejích občanů na jednotnou měnu euro a záměry Francie v průběhu jejích předsednictví v Radě EU.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe diploma thesis deals with the topic of France and its relationship to European integration and European Union. It describes the roots of the thoughts of European integration with a focus on the concept of ?Pan-Europe?. It sums up the attitudes of the presidents of the Fourth and Fifth French Republic to the Europen integration. The thesis mentions French personages who helped to deepen the integration process (J. Monnet, R. Schuman, R. Pleven, J. Delors) and on the other hand, it discusses the difficulties that were caused by France (the failure of EDC, veto on British membership in EC, the ?empty chair? crisis, French referendums on the european issues). The thesis examines profoundly the parts of electoral programs of the main french political parties related to Europe and the French attitude to the eastward enlargement of the EU. It also describes the opinion of France and its citizens to the issue of single currency and French goals during its presidencies of the Council of EU.en
