dc.description.abstract-translatedIn the following post, I will focus my attention on the problem of analysis of contemporary social reality as it was presented by Karl Jaspers and outlined in the work published in 1931, Die geistige Situation der Zeit. I will develop the analysis in the context of the moral emotions of admiration and disgust that are experienced in crowd behavior. Participation in the life of the crowd satisfies the person less and less, the emotion of admiration and attraction disappears, gradual disgust sets in and the individual naturally deviates from the crowd.en
