| dc.description.abstract | Bakalářská práce se zabývá irskou pojistkou a její proměnou v průběhu vyjednávání dohody o vystoupení Spojeného království z EU. Cílem irské pojistky bylo zajistit, aby po brexitu nevznikla na irském ostrově tvrdá hranice. V průběhu vyjednávání se ukázalo, že je velmi obtížné nalézt řešení, které by zajistilo propustnost irských hranic, aniž by to ohrozilo integritu jednotného trhu EU. Zároveň bylo obtížné zajistit, aby Spojené království mohlo po brexitu vystoupit z jednotného trhu a celní unie EU. Irská pojistka se tak stala klíčovou překážkou pro dosažení dohody o vystoupení. V práci je uvedeno, jak probíhala jednání o irské pojistce a jaké názory zastávali hlavní představitelé při vyjednávání. V práci je také využita teorie vzájemné závislosti a teorie her. Za pomoci teorie vzájemné závislosti je vysvětleno, proč bylo tak obtížné vyřešit situaci na irských hranicích. Z pohledu teorie her je popsáno, jak postoje jednotlivých stran komplikovaly vyjednávání. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | The bachelor thesis deals with the Irish backstop and its transformation during the negotiation of the agreement on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the EU. The Irish backstop aimed to ensure that there will be no hard border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland after Brexit. During the negotiations, it proved very difficult to find a solution that would ensure the free movement of Ireland's borders without jeopardising the integrity of the EU's single market. It was also difficult to ensure that the United Kingdom could leave the EU's single market and customs union after Brexit. The Irish backstop has thus become a key obstacle to reaching a withdrawal agreement. The thesis presents a course of negotiations on the Irish backstop and what views the main representatives held during the negotiations. The work also uses the theory of interdependence and game theory. Using the theory of interdependence, it is explained why it was so difficult to solve the situation on the Irish border. From the point of view of game theory, it is described how the attitudes of individual parties complicated negotiations. | en |
