dc.description.abstract-translatedCompliance with legality at the stage of criminal proceedings referred to as pre-trial proceedings is a fundamental, very important attribute of modern criminal law, which manifests itself in various forms. Authorities involved in criminal proceedings have extensive powers in the investigation of criminal offenses. However, the more powers an authority involved in criminal proceedings has, the more important it is that legality is consistently applied in the exercise of that power, not only formally, but also materially and actually in practice.en
